The TenderTykes Digital Pacifier Thermometer features a pacifier-style thermometer to calm an infant child and allow you to easily take a temperature reading.

This thermometer is in the shape of an orthodontic nipple, which is a familiar object to the infant. Due to its familiarity, you will be able to take her temperature without upsetting her. In fact, if she is sleeping, she may simply sleep through it!

The thermometer will signify a high temperature reading  (above 99.9°F) by sounding a soothing lullaby that will keep the infant calm. The infant’s temperature will be monitored every 5 minutes for a 25 minute period. At the end of 25 minutes, the thermometer will turn itself off to conserve its battery.

The TenderTykes Digital Pacifier Thermometer needs just 90 seconds on average to take an accurate temperature reading.

You can use the TenderTykes’ memory recall of the last temperature reading to get an idea whether the child’s temperature is rising or falling.

In summary, as with the Mabis 30 second thermometer, the Digital Pacifier Thermometer is an invaluable piece of household equipment. It can provide early detection of an infection that may require professional medical attention.
