LeukoTape P

BSN LeukoTape P has a rayon backing that increases its tensile strength and makes it a great choice for rehabilitation. LeukoTape also has a powerful zinc oxide adhesive and so remains in position for hours at a time if needed. Despite its significant strength, rigidity and support, the tape is porous and hand tearable.

Like DynaPro Rigid Athletic Tape, BSN Leukotape P is frequently used for taping joints such as the patella-femoral or the shoulder to treat or prevent injuries in these areas. Joints that are weak or unstable will receive valuable reinforcement via this treatment, thus reducing the risk of injury. This is a valuable precaution before beginning a period of strenuous physical activity that will place significant demands on a vulnerable joint.

BSN LeukoTape P – Other Uses

Leukotape P is also a great choice for preventing blisters. Just apply it over areas where blisters tend to form, e.g. the heels  or metatarsal area of your feet. Once in place, LeukoTape can reduce the risk of blisters forming. Alternatively, it can protect an already existing  blister from becoming worse.
