Antiseptic Isopropyl Alcohol Pads

Lernapharm Antiseptic Isopropyl Alcohol Pads are antiseptic skin cleansers used for treating minor bruises and cuts, insect bites or stings. These topical cleansers  are also useful for preparing your skin before an injection or receiving surgery. These pads are practically identical to the WebCol pads that you can also buy on this site.

The pads’ isopropyl alcohol helps to kill bacteria that may otherwise bring skin infections. They also air dry quickly, so you will not need to wipe the area dry.

The pads are supplied in latex free individual water resistant wrappings and contain a 70/30 mix of isopropyl alcohol and water. This combination is medically proven to deliver optimal results in killing bacteria. It effectively denatures the protein of bacterial and viral agents and kills them. The 70% concentration of isopropyl alcohol to water is similar to that used by many hand sanitizers, such as DynaPro XPressClean, for example. Ethyl alcohol is sometimes used as an effective cleaner in place of isopropyl alcohol. The question is often asked as to which of these antibacterial/antiviral agents is more effective. Studies have shown that isopropyl alcohol is slightly more effective than isopropyl alcohol, at least where killing E. coli and S. aureus bacteria are concerned.
