The  McDavid Knee Brace With Polycentric Hinges uses bi-lateral polycentric hinges with gears to provide you with stability and free movement. It also has top and bottom straps that are engineered to assure you a customized and comfortable fit.

The brace also comes with an open patella 360˚ padded buttress that supports your patella and isolates it from external shocks or impacts. The brace’s bound edges help to prevent irritation and add to wearing comfort.  In addition to these features, the brace has a perforated back panel that helps to keep your knee and leg cool, dry  and comfortable even if you wear the brace all day long.

The McDavid Knee Brace With Polycentric Hinges is made almost entirely from Neoprene(CR), a latex free composite material. As it is latex free, you will not habve any grounds for concern about latex allergies even if you have experienced these reactions in the past.

The choice of neoprene as a construction material gives the brace superior resilience, tear resistance and tensile strength. It also benefits from superior compressive and heat retention capabilities, both of which are key to therapeutical performance.

The use of neoprene also allows you to wash and dry the brace several times without loss of performance. However, for best results over an extended period, we recommend air drying the brace.

This brace provides Level 3 protection for your knee. It improves lateral and medial stability and can both reduce the risk of  re- injury during rehabilitation and promote progress to full recovery. Knee injuries in sports like baseball or soccer can be effectively treated using this brace.
