Ankle Sleeve / Elastic

The McDavid Ankle Sleeve / Elastic uses a breathable knitted elastic construction that is 100% neoprene free. With polyester, rubber and nylon as its construction materials, this is an ideal choice for if you have a history of neoprene allergies. The absence of neoprene also makes this a support that will keep your feet cool, dry and comfortable. There will be less heat and moisture retention than would be the case for a support made from neoprene.

The higher comfort level of this sleeve makes it easier to wear for extended periods. You will even find it easier to wear during performance of regular, non athletic activity. At the same time, however, this support will offer somewhat less protection, support and therapeutic warmth than a neoprene based sleeve.

The Ankle Sleeve provides Level 1 primary protection, support and pain relief from conditions such as arthritis, tendonitis and minor surgical procedures. You can consider this product for treatment of minor ankle injuries from sports such as baseball, soccer and basketball.
