The McDavid Knee Sleeve / 4-Way Elastic With Gel Buttresses & Stays uses four way stretch fabric to offer higher compression and superior fitting comfort without heat retention.

This sleeve offers a higher level of support compared to the Knee Sleeve / 4-Way Elastic With Gel Buttresses. This comes courtesy of its spring steel stays that reinforce your knees and provide extra support as well as lateral movement. As with the Knee Sleeve 4-Way Elastic With Gel Buttresses, this sleeve’s gel buttresses are situated over your sensitive soft tissue areas. They also provide patellar support.

You can consider this sleeve if you have weak, unstable or injured knees and need to be able to participate in physically demanding sports or other recreational activities with less risk of re-injuring your knees. It will also provide confidence in your knee and help you to concentrate on your sport of recreation without distractions.

The brace eschews latex and neoprene in favor of nylon and spandex. This mode of construction makes this sleeve an great choice if you have a history of  neoprene or latex allergies.
