Intelect TranSport Combination

The Intelect® TranSport Combination unit outputs 2 channels of electrical stimulation signals and combines this with ultrasound functionality. It also has a logical control system and a large user friendly graphical LCD display. You can also independently configure the intensity and parameter controls of each channel.

It includes 4 standard waveforms  – interferential, high-volt, Russian and premodulated.

The ultrasound functionality comprises 1 and 3.33 Mhz ultrasound frequencies. It also provides both pulsed and continuous therapy operational modes (10%, 20%, 50% and 100%).

The unit comes with a 5 cm² Sound Head Applicator. You can also get  1 cm², 2 cm² and 10 cm² Applicators for use with it. The Sound Heads used with the unit are watertight, making them suitable for underwater therapy.  In addition, the Sound Head Applicator transducers have an Electronic Signature™ and are interchangeable as a result. They also come with a head warming feature.

As with the other Intelect® Transport units, you can define 10 user configurations for the unit and store them in memory for future use.

You can use this unit in wall mount, mobile use, table top or therapy cart configurations. You also have the choice of powering it using 110V or batteries. When using it with the optional therapy cart, you will have room for storage of supplies.

The unit comes with a 2 year (24 month) warranty.

Intelect® TranSport Combination – Indicated Uses

This unit is useful for both electrical muscle stimulation and ultrasound imaging.

Electrical muscle stimulation has many therapeutic, training and cosmetic benefits, including:

• Athletic strength training;
• Rehabilitation of disused and atrophied muscles of patients;
• Evaluating patient neural or muscular function;
• Post exercise recuperation.

You can also use this portable unit in ultrasound imaging mode. It will help you to “see” internal body structures such as tendons, muscles, internal organs or blood vessels.
