Relief Pak HotSpot Moist Heat Pack

The Relief Pak® HotSpot® Moist Heat Pack effectively applies moist heat for treatment of repetitive stress injuries. The packs provide 30 minutes of moist heat that will ease the pain and discomfort of a stiff neck, arthritis, backache, bruises and sprains.

This pack is flexible. You can heat it in water over a stove or by using a microwave or a heating unit like a Hydrocollator. When you are done, just store the pack until you need it again.

Moist heat is known to penetrate more deeply into your tissues than dry heat at the same temperatures. It can also generate a more rapid rise in your tissue temperatures as well as elicit a stronger response from your body’s temperature receptors.

Take precautions to protect your skin from being scalded. Take care to apply the Relief Pak® HotSpot® Moist Heat Pack together with a Relief Pak® cover. Alternatively, we suggest that you wrap a heavy towel around the pack before commencing the treatment.

The heat pack comes in several different shapes, each of which is designed to conform to a different part of your body. The standard contour is applicable to most areas while the neck contour is shaped for effective targeting of neck and shoulder pain.
