Elbow Sleeve / 4-Way Elastic w/Gel Buttresses

The McDavid Elbow Sleeve / 4-Way Elastic w/Gel Buttresses is designed to help you manage elbow conditions like olecranon bursitis. It features a bi-lateral gel buttresses that offers targeted targeted but comfortable compression to the elbow area.  The sleeve also offers uniform compression around the elbow joint, courtesy of its 4-way stretch elastic construction.

The sleeve does not contain neoprene and so will not offer heat retention. It will however keep you cool and comfortable. Constructed from nylon and spandex,  it will provide you with a a comfortable wearing experience all day long. In addition, the absence of neoprene and latex eliminates any risk of adverse medical reactions if you have sensitive skin or a history of latex sensitivity.

As mentioned above, the McDavid Elbow Sleeve / 4-Way Elastic w/Gel Buttresses can provide targeted compression. You can position its buttresses over specific parts of your elbow to absorb forces or vibrations transmitted along your forearm towards your extensor or flexor tendons. These forces, if allowed to reach these tendons over an extended period can result the development of tennis or golfers’ elbow. Once you have positioned the gel butresses correctly, they will absorb these forces. The result will be less pain and other symptoms of tennis or golfers’ elbow.

While the gel buttresses provide targeted compression, the 4 way elastic design helps to address more general injuries that affect larger areas of the elbow, such as arthritis or bursitis.

You can use this brace as part of rehabilitating your elbow and returning to action after suffering from a severe case of tennis or golfers’ elbow.
