For additional all round comfort, this brace also features McDavid’s exclusive 5-needle stitch for a flatter and stronger seam. As a result, you will experience fewer skin marks, welts or other injuries from wearing this brace, despite its high compression.

Another comfort oriented feature of the brace is its seamless back-of-knee panel to avoid irritation around this sensitive area. The anatomical design of the brace also adds to all round wearing comfort.

Composition of the Knee Support with Open Patella is 100% neoprene(CR), a latex free composite that eliminates any risk of adverse medical reaction, even if you have a history of  latex sensitivy.

The choice of  100% neoprene for the composition of this support gives superior resilience, tear resistance and tensile strength. It also enhances its compressive and heat retention capabilities. These are two qualities that are key to the brace’s therapeutic performance.

Using 100% neoprene allows you to wash and dry this brace repeatedly, with no loss of performance. However, we would recommend that you air dry the brace to get the best results from its use over the longest period possible.

This low profile brace uses neoprene that is just 3.2mm thick, allowing you to wear it under all types of clothing, whether athletic or regular.

McDavid have also paid attention to durability in the design of this brace. They have enclosed it in an outer layer of heavy-duty nylon fabric to extend its longevity.
